Hertha BSC against Borussia Dortmund was a real snoozefest of a match. A bumpy pitch and a well-organized opposition were enough to stop BVB’s scoring streak. Though some fans identified somebody else as the culprit for the dropped points.

Obviously that is very much tongue in cheek, as Hertha Berlin matches have a habit of being dull all on their own. But such is the reputation of Jose that negative tactics are very much associated with the Portuguese. Mourinho and his assistant coach Rui Faria were in the nation’s capital on invitation of Dortmund boss Hans-Joachim Watzke. They had lunch at an Italian restaurant before the match to just exchange some thought – which was nothing serious, just talk among men according to ‘Die Welt’. It’s safe to say Mou was hardly impressed by what he got to see on Saturday afternoon.
No coincidence we finished at 0:0 with Mourinho inside the stadium. Spreading its negativity everywhere smh

Biggest takeaway from today: Mourinho makes everything less fun.

Though the meeting was completely unrelated with Borussia Dortmund’s business as Watzke told ‘Bild am Sonntag’: “It’s not a big deal. We’ve been friends for a long time and have always kept in touch. His visit has been planned for quite a while and now it happened to be this match. That was just a private matter and has nothing to do with Borussia Dortmund.”
