Marco Reus is yet to join team training. On Tuesday he only trained individually and his injury worries are slowly starting to worry. The German international is set to be back against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, but given that there is a make-or-break week up ahead, Reus is absolutely needed.
Frankfurt and Hoffenheim must be beaten in the league, if Dortmund want to have any hopes to reach 7th place by the end of the season, otherwise Werder Bremen are very likely to pip them – no pressure!
Of course, the black and yellows can take a shortcut. On Tuesday between Frankfurt and Hoffenheim, they travel to Munich to play the DFB cup semi-final. It’ll be a massive game, which will decide, whether Dortmund will have another chance to win a title this season and immediately qualify for the Europa League.
But beating FC Bayern won’t be easy and Dortmund need to be on their best – which they cannot be without Marco Reus.
