DORTMUND — Michy Batshuayi talked to The Yellow Wall after his game-winning performance in BVB’s 3-2 late Euro League victory against Atalanta on Thursday.
How are you feeling after the match? You once again played amazingly and scored a brace.
“I’m feeling very good at the moment. It was an important win for the team. We’re trying to win every match and to continue to our good run.”
With every goal you score, you’re becoming more interesting for Chelsea and other top clubs. Are you scared that you have to leave at the end of the season?
“I’m not thinking about that at all. For me, it’s important to perform well for Borussia Dortmund in every match anew. I’ll deal with the situation as it comes.”
Your integration into the Dortmund team worked seamlessly. How did that happen so fast?
“They all welcomed me here with open arms. The entire staff and the team made it very easy for me and I have a good translator [in Massimo Mariotti] by my side.”
How do you reward yourself after such a great performance?
“I’ll spend time with my family and then I will rewatch the game and look at what was good and what could be improved.”
