Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ruled out for Wednesday’s DFB Pokal semi-final against Hertha BSC due to a bone splintering in his toe, as the club confirmed via Twitter.
The Gabonese striker, who has already provided 3 goals and 3 assists within three cup matches this season to guide his team to the semi-finals was declared fit by his coach Thomas Tuchel on Tuesdays news conference.
Yet, Aubameyang left the Borussia Dortmund training facilities while the final training ahead of the match was still going on.

Unless Tuchel opts for a false nine with Marco Reus leading the line against the Old Lady, it’ll be up to Adrian Ramos to knock his former club out of the competition. The 30-year-old striker has been praised by Tuchel on Tuesday.
Tuchel: Adrian Ramos is completely accepted within the team. I'm happy he is now being rewarded for his efforts. He's of great value for us.

Apart from Aubameyang and Neven Subotic, who is out for the rest of the season with thrombosis in his arm, everyone, including Erik Durm, is at Tuchel’s disposal.
